Rooted Pine Design is a new studio built on years of experience and a grounded approach to design. While the business itself is new, I bring over 20 years of website and graphic design experience to every project. I’ve worked on websites in many different roles across both the private and public sectors, which gives me a practical, well-rounded understanding of what small businesses actually need from their online presence.
As a small business owner myself I understand how much work goes into running a business — and how overwhelming websites and marketing can feel. That’s why I approach my work with curiosity, compassion, and a genuine desire to understand you and your business. I ask thoughtful questions, listen closely, and help you focus on what really matters.

The name Rooted Pine Design reflects my love for the Pacific Northwest where I live, and also and how I approach my work.
Rooted speaks to strong foundations — taking the time to understand your business, your goals, and what really matters before designing anything.
Pine represents steady growth, resilience, and simplicity. Just like a pine tree, your website should be dependable, thoughtfully built, and able to grow with you over time.
A Little About Me
Hi there! I’m Christy, owner and designer at Rooted Pine Design.
I live in Lake Stevens with my husband, our two kids, and our rescue dog, Bagel (who’s usually nearby while I work). When I’m not designing websites, you’ll find me reading, learning new skills, camping with my family, or taking long walks to reset and recharge.
I started Rooted Pine Design to help small businesses create thoughtful, creative websites in a way that feels supportive and approachable. I believe the design process doesn’t have to be overwhelming or intimidating — it can be collaborative, clear, and even enjoyable. My goal is to offer steady guidance, honest communication, and design solutions that truly support the people behind the business.
